The Society has six groups, based in the major population centres in the County and an Out of County group based in West London.

A warm welcome awaits you at any of our group meetings. Each group organises its own programme of talks, walks, open days and events. The Society has a comprehensive programme to publish local material including indexes and transcripts of records. Members are encouraged to take part in projects such as recording gravestone inscriptions, indexing and transcribing parish and other archives.
