King Edward VI Grammar School, Bury St Edmunds SFK-OB/1   A booklet compiled by the Old Burians Association, contains a great deal of new information, extending that published in 1908 as a Suffolk Green Book. It is indexed and incorporates details of sports captains and sergeants in the school OTC. A selection of photographs is included, making this a most useful record for historians.

The Bury Rentals 1526 & 1547 SFK-BR/1 Anthony Breen M.A. Pre-dating Parish Register, & specially translated from the original latin for SFHS, this booklet in A5 format, comprising 76 pages, 4 maps, 2 illustrations of the original text and 4 separate indexes listing over 2000 names and contains two rentals namely - Parcels in possession of the late Monastry of Bury St Edmunds and now the Borough of Bury St Edmunds (1547); and a rental of assized rents for the town of Bury St Edmunds belonging to the office of Sacrist of the monastry of St Edmund (1526/27). The contents will doubtless be of interest to anyone searching for 16th C. ancestors in the Bury St Edmunds area, house historians and those studying the history of the Abbey.
The Rentals of the Manor of the Prior of St Mary Woodbridge 1560 SFK-WR/1 Anthony Breen M.A. This is the second publication in our "Before the Parish Register Series". Specially translated from the original Latin and  following the format established by the Bury Rentals published in 2001, the content details rentals in 1560 of the Manor formerly in the possession of the Prior of Woodbridge. It will doubtless be of interest to anyone searching for 16C ancestors in the Woodbridge area, house historians and those studying the history of St. Mary's Priory.  A5 book format, 128 pages, indexed.
The Journal of John Kirby Moore of Badley 1821-1882 SFK-JKM/1 Researched & edited by Mike Durrant S.F.H.S. The occasional diary of a Suffolk gentleman farmer who lived at Badley, Suffolk, for 91 years. For 48 of those years he was the Steward to Lord Ashburnham's 3,450 acre Suffolk estate. Spanning 52 years, the diary provides an interesting insight into the life of a 19C Suffolk gentleman farmer. Supplementary notes are provided to assist readers understand the relationship of the various individuals referred to, together with photographs and a map. A5 format, 68 pages, fully indexed.

Parson & People in a Suffolk Village SFK-??? Researched & edited by Mike Durrant This casebound book, published on 24th March 2007, portrays a vigorous rural community which lived almost two centuries ago. It is based on the personal accounts of over one hundred his parishioners written by the rector of Wortham, Richard Cobbold (author of History of Margaret Catchpole), supplemented by standard sources such as census returns and parish registers.

Parish Churches of East Suffolk SFK-PYE1 A Photographic and Historical guide to the Parish Churches of East Suffolk compiled by Adrian S. Pye This book is a very useful guide to the whereabouts of the church and the points of interest about each church. Each church is photographed in full colour (except where the church no longer exists and an old black and white is available). There is an index of notable monuments mentioned in the text and a full glossary of ecclesiastical and architectural terms.
