RESEARCH INFORMATION
All the publications from Suffolk FHS are available at the Suffolk Record Offices. The Suffolk Family History Library is situated in the Records Office in Ipswich and contains numerous information about the county. Please note that Officers of the Suffolk Family History Society are unable to carry out research on behalf of members.
CHAPMAN CODES
The Chapman Codes were devised by Colin Chapman and apply to the counties as they were before 1974. These abbreviations are commonly used and a list of them can be found here.
