Suffolk FHS provides a Search & Print-Out Service. We are happy to search the following Suffolk FHS indexes. Please write to the relevant service provider listed below. Cheques or Money Orders should be made payable to 'Suffolk Family History Society'.
Australian, Canadian New Zealand and US members can pay for searches by contacting their local service provider, who will advise them of the cost and will accept payment in local currency.

For Soldiers who died in the Great War a commemorative print can be provided at a cost of £1.00 provided you supply the full name and approximate date of death.
SUFFOLK BURIAL INDEX
Now covers 572 Burial Grounds and in excess of 1,120,000 named individuals. This is a single Index covering all periods from the beginning of parish registers to 1900.
Note: The latest version of the CD version of Suffolk Burials Index is Release 12. It has been decided by the Society Projects Committee that a new CD to supercede the Release 12 CD will not be published for the time being. Release 13 data will only be accessible via the Society's Search Service.

Your request must include the following information: Surname required (including variants). State whether you want to search the whole county or up to four named burial places.
Up to 12 pages are provided for a charge of £3.00. Each additional A4 sheet costs 25p. (N.B. Most surnames are in the range 10 - 50 sheets depending on how many burial places are specified). You need to include an A4 self-addressed stamped C4 envelope. The minimum postage is 55p (or 6 IRCs if overseas).

Each request must include One Surname (plus variants). You may also provide a specific forename of the person baptised and/or forename(s) of parent(s). You may specify any or all of the available parishes.
The charge for the search is £2 per surname requested and covers up to 20 entries with additional entries at £0.10 each.
Postage: If you require a paper copy of your search results then you must include a stamped addressed C5 envelope (A5 size) with your request. If you require an electronic copy, then please indicate the software that you are using, i.e. Excel, and we will, if possible, send the results as an attachment. Otherwise, we will 'copy and paste' them.
