September Open Day

What are your family roots?

Whether you are looking for a new pastime for the winter evenings or wanting to discover more about the ancestors on your family tree, the Haverhill Family History Group may be able help. The group is hosting an Open Day on Saturday 22 September in Haverhill Library. The event will run from 10am til 3pm so why not drop in to search the documents that are available to help you find out more about the lives of your ancestors? The group, which also runs an Open Day in January,  is extremely fortunate to have the support of two local professional genealogists and this time Karen Young will be available to help those who have come up against a brick wall.  The group’s own volunteers will also be on hand to help others with their research and whether you are just beginning or continuing, you can be assured of a warm welcome. No booking is required.
