A small party of our group recently enjoyed a walking tour of Long Melford led by David Gevaux from the Long Melford Museum and Heritage Centre. David gave an interesting insight to the village and its occupants from the Museum to the Holy Trinity Church, a journey of less than a mile but took 2.5 hours to complete! A really enjoyable afternoon we hope to return next year to do the other half of the village.
